Savannah Guthrie says her family is āat an hour of desperationā.
The Today show star and her siblings issued another urgent plea for help following the disappearance of their mother Nancy Guthrie as a reported ransom deadline for her safe return passed at 5pm local time (midnight GMT) on Monday (09.02.26), while officials are still yet to identify a suspect or person of interest.
In a new Instagram video, Savannah, 54, said: āWe believe our mom is still out there. We need your help.
āLaw enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock trying to bring her home ā trying to find her. She was taken and we donāt know where. And we need your help.
āSo Iām coming on just to ask you not just for your prayers, but no matter where you are ā even if youāre far from Tuscon.
āIf you see anything, if you hear anything, if thereās anything at all that seems strange to you ā that you report to law enforcement. We are at an hour of desperation, and we need your help.ā
Nancy, 84, went missing on January 31, and by February 2 the Pima County Sheriffās office had declared her disappearance a crime after āconcerningā evidence was found at her home in Arizona.
On Thursday (05.02.26), the FBI offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to her being found, āand/or the arrested and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearanceā.
Over the weekend, Savannah appeared in another video with her siblings Cameron and Annie as she revealed they are willing to āpayā for their motherās safe return.
She said: āWe received your message, and we understand
āWe beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.ā
The video did not give details about the message Savannah referenced.
Authorities previously confirmed they are investigating a ransom note demanding bitcoin, which was shared with the media.
A separate fake ransom note has led to an arrest, and FBI Agent Heith Janek insisted it came from āsomeone that was trying to profit from [Nancyās case], a total imposterā.
He added: āMy next message is to those imposters who are trying to take advantage and profit from this situation.
