A tense wildlife encounter occurred near a quiet riverbank this week after a dog was bitten by a large snake, alarming local residents and drawing attention to the risks of wildlife encounters in natural areas.
According to witnesses, the incident happened early in the morning when people living near the river heard loud barking and signs of a struggle coming from the grassy bank.
